About The Role
Drive end‑to‑end supply planning to ensure product availability while optimising inventory and managing risk. The Supply Planner operates within the Planning team and reports into the Senior Planning Manager, with accountability for translating approved demand plans and S&OP decisions into executable supply, procurement, and inventory plans. You will translate demand signals into executable supply plans that are feasible across capacity, cash, and supplier constraints, supporting business growth and operational efficiency. You will own supply inputs into the S&OP cycle, including feasibility assessments, capacity views, inventory risk, and recommended actions, and work closely with Demand Planning, Logistics, and Customer Supply Chain to ensure aligned execution. Operating in a dynamic environment with demand volatility and frequent lifecycle changes, the Supply Planner is expected to proactively identify supply constraints, inventory exposure, and execution risks, ensuring issues are surfaced early and supported with clear data for decision‑making and escalation.
Requirements
- Supply Planning & S&OP Integration: Lead supply reviews and provide actionable insights as core inputs to the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between demand and supply.
- Planning & Capacity Management: Develop and maintain supply, procurement, and capacity plans that maximise production efficiency and minimise disruptions.
- Purchase Order Execution: Execute purchase orders in line with approved plans, ensuring timely and accurate replenishment.
- Production & Transition Management: Manage feasing, pack changes, and production transitions to ensure smooth operations and minimise downtime.
- Inventory Health & Risk Management: Monitor SKU‑level inventory, ageing, and risk indicators to maintain optimal stock levels.
- SLOB & Obsolescence Control: Quantify, track, and mitigate slow‑moving and obsolete inventory exposure.
- Constraint & Supplier Risk Escalation: Identify capacity bottlenecks, MOQ conflicts, and supplier risks, and escalate appropriately to protect supply continuity.
- Planning Governance & Reporting: Maintain planning parameters, reporting outputs, and performance metrics to support informed decision‑making.

- Demonstrable advanced Excel and data analysis skills – experience in building and maintaining robust planning and scenario models.
- Experience of planning capability in supply and inventory management.
- Experience of proactive problem‑solving.
- Experience of the application of detail‑oriented ways of working as well as good commercial awareness.
