We offer investment management, advisory and research services across hedge funds, private credit, private equity and real assets. As of November 30, 2025, Aksia advises on over $329 billion and manages $35 billion of client capital across funds-of-one, SMAs and products.

Aksia's Hedge Funds team maintains broad and deep coverage of the global hedge fund universe across all sectors, equity long/short, relative value, event‐driven, macro, and multi‐strategy and help clients to build portfolios that meet their needs, on an advisory basis (across primaries or SMAs offered by GPs) or a discretionary basis (across all investment types, implemented via bespoke mandates or products).

Aksia is seeking an Investment Professional to join the Hedge Funds team in London. This role will have exposure to all aspects of the Hedge Funds platform, with a primary focus on client‐facing responsibilities, acting as a Hedge Funds‐literate partner to Aksia's institutional investor base. This individual will serve as the primary face of Aksia's Hedge Funds team for select institutional clients and prospects, with meaningful exposure to business development alongside investment content.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key Hedge Funds investment representative in meetings with institutional clients and prospects, articulating portfolio construction, positioning, performance, risks and market views for hedge funds.
  • Act as a bridge between the strategy‐focused members of the Hedge Funds research and portfolio management teams and clients, translating manager‐ and portfolio‐level analysis into clear, client‐ready materials and discussions.
  • Partner with the pan‐alternative business development and client‐facing teams to support marketing, fundraising and cross‐selling initiatives related to Aksia's Hedge Funds strategies and broader alternatives platform.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of regular portfolio and market updates, performance reviews and forward‐looking outlooks for Hedge Funds clients and investors (including written materials and presentations).
  • Collaborate with legal, client operations, risk, accounting and other internal stakeholders to support the implementation, monitoring and reporting of Hedge Funds mandates, funds‐of‐funds, advisory portfolios and bespoke solutions.
Qualifications
  • Approximately 10+ years of relevant experience at an investment firm, hedge fund manager, hedge fund allocator, multi‐asset platform or related buy‐side/sell‐side role with meaningful exposure to hedge funds.
  • Either: (i) a highly client‐facing background working with institutional investors and a strong grounding in investment and manager research fundamentals, or (ii) a research/investment‐oriented background in hedge funds or related public markets strategies, with a clear interest in moving into a more client‐focused, externally facing role.
  • Strong understanding of hedge fund and portfolio analysis, including evaluation of strategy risk/return profiles, use of leverage and derivatives, liquidity terms, operational due diligence considerations and primary/secondary fund due diligence in the hedge fund context.
  • Proven ability to distill complex portfolios, strategies and risk exposures into clear, actionable narratives for internal stakeholders and sophisticated institutional clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to senior investment staff and institutional investors (investment committees, trustees, CIOs and risk teams).
  • Strong collaboration skills and a desire to work in a fast‐growing, global and team‐oriented environment.
  • High degree of integrity, professional maturity and commercial judgement.
