The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 € per year.

This is a key role within the business, focused on design, estimating, and pre-construction. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are:

  • technically accurate
  • properly scoped
  • commercially viable

You will work closely with the Managing Director and Operations Manager to support the successful delivery of projects from enquiry through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Pre-Construction

  • Carry out site surveys and technical assessments
  • Design HVAC/mechanical systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning)
  • Select equipment and produce system layouts
  • Produce clear, accurate drawings suitable for installation teams (AutoCAD or similar)
  • Ensure designs comply with client specifications and relevant standards

Estimating & Commercial

  • Prepare cost estimates and tender submissions
  • Review drawings, specifications, and scope of works
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
  • Build labour and material costings
  • Price projects in line with agreed target margins
  • Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities within tenders

Project Handover & Support

  • Lead project handover to the operations team
  • Produce clear job packs including scope, costs, and programme assumptions
  • Support with pricing of variations and additional works
  • Provide technical input during project delivery when required
