The Delivery team sits at the heart of this work, partnering closely with UX, Creative and Technology to ensure ideas are realised to the highest quality, on time, and to budget.
The Senior Interactive Producer plays a critical role in leading the strategic definition, creative development and execution of product-focused local marketing campaigns and direct marketing (DM) email communications. This is a senior, client‑facing role that sits at the intersection of strategy, experience design, creative innovation and delivery excellence. You will work closely with UX and Creative teams to shape customer experience, push creative execution and innovation, and translate ambitious ideas into world‑class digital experiences, while expertly managing production and delivery across complex digital ecosystems. This role is embedded with one of AKQA’s key clients and will require regular on‑site collaboration and office visits to support close partnership, delivery alignment and stakeholder engagement. This position is offered as a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the strategic, UX and creative development and execution of digital campaigns across web and DM communications
- Partner deeply with UX, Creative and Technology teams to define the role of digital experiences within broader customer journeys
- Drive creative innovation while balancing feasibility, performance and delivery excellence
- Own the full interactive production lifecycle — from discovery and definition through build, QA and launch
- Translate business briefs into clear experience strategies, scopes of work and delivery roadmaps
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across locations and time zones, alongside external production and QA partners
- Ensure flawless technical execution and publishing across web platforms and digital communications
- Leverage analytics and performance insights to continuously optimise digital experiences and campaign outcomes
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, budgets and timelines across complex programmes
- Champion best‑in‑class customer experience, craft and production quality across all workstreams
QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
- Extensive experience in interactive production within a digital, creative or marketing communications agency environment
- Proven track record partnering with UX, Creative and Technology teams to shape strategy, experience and execution
- Strong hands‑on experience delivering web and digital communications from concept through launch
- Deep understanding of creative technology, digital platforms and modern production workflows
- Demonstrated leadership across large, multi‑stream digital programmes and distributed teams
- Highly organised, detail‑driven and methodical in managing complex delivery environments
- Confident client‑facing communicator able to influence, challenge and guide strategic decisions
- Strong commercial awareness across scopes, budgets and resourcing
- Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, time‑sensitive delivery contexts
- PMI or equivalent project management training is a strong plus
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are an asset
