Responsible for analysing sales, competitor prices and adjusting selling prices to achieve optimal profitability.
- Use your sales analysis skills to assist in executing price changes to make the most of our exciting new online booking platform.
- Compare competitor prices to ensure we are best placed to maximise profitability.
- Accountable for responding to price match and general pricing queries, involving reviewing contracts and applying calculations.
- Analysis of customer patterns to support commercial decision making.
- Assist in the identification of system errors, support of user testing and implementation of projects as requested.
- Loading cost components into the system, requiring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support the testing of all external data feeds into the company system.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in a pricing or revenue management an advantage but not essential.
- Strong communication skills, with good understanding of English language both oral and written.
- Numerate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good interpersonal skills and an outgoing, approachable personality.
- Hardworking and able to learn quickly new procedures and business disciplines.
- Ability to manage busy workload and prioritise effectively the achievement of set objectives and targets.
- Flexible approach to teamwork as well as self-starter able to work on own.
- Strong team ethic, providing assistance when colleagues are absent.
- Willingness to work flexible hours with occasional evening/weekend/bank holiday shifts and support other areas of the business if needed.
The role is office based with flexibility to work from home 1 day per week, after successful completion of agreed training period. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
