I'm currently looking for a systems ops analyst for a 12 month contract based in Warwick initially, then Wokingham. This role is a physically office-based role, and will form part of a 24-7-365 shift rota. The role will be based at Wokingham but will initially require travel to Warwick as part of training.

Key role details:

  • The individual will be part of the team providing 24x7 system health & proactive monitoring of the CNI (Critical National Infrastructure) services, covering applications, Middleware, database, operating system, and server infrastructures.
  • The team provides 1st line support to ensure CNI systems/services meet their SLAs.
  • Effective interaction and engagement with the second- and third-line support teams, System Managers, business partners, control room staff, IT helpdesk, Incident Managers and other key third parties is required.
  • The team contributes towards continued compliance of system and infrastructure with security and CNI regulations, policies and standards.
  • This role underpins the support of the critical business processes which are key to the safe, efficient and reliable operation of energy networks in the UK by providing reliable and available CNI control systems for Electricity control room engineers.
