The Talent Acquisition Lead ensures the smooth operation of the TA function across multiple business units while personally delivering hands-on recruitment. This role is equally focused on day-to-day coordination, proactive management, and oversight of the TA team as it is on individual hiring responsibilities.

The Talent Acquisition Lead will oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the TA team, ensuring workload distribution, prioritisation of roles, and operational efficiency, while also personally managing recruitment campaigns. This includes end-to-end hiring, industry mapping, competitor intelligence, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the TA team, including workload management, prioritisation of roles, and proactive support to associates.
  • Execute hands-on end-to-end recruitment for high-priority roles, contributing directly to a portion of hiring targets.
  • Conduct role briefings with Delivery, Operations, Business Management, Practice Leadership, Compliance, and HR to fully understand requirements.
  • Scope job descriptions, create sourcing strategies, design targeted campaigns, and manage talent pipelines.
  • Map industries, track competitor activity, and identify target companies for proactive headhunting and talent acquisition.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, interviewing, assessing, offering, negotiating, and pre-onboarding activities.
  • Conduct performance reviews, annual PDRs, and goal setting for TA staff in partnership with the Head of TA.
  • Support capability building of associate-level TA staff alongside the TA Coach.
  • Monitor team KPIs, produce 1:1 reports, and ensure process compliance and efficiency.
  • Unblock recruitment or operational challenges wherever possible to maintain pace and quality.
  • Protect and enhance candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Amplify Akkodis’ Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and integrate DE&I principles in all recruitment activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise TA processes and operational efficiency.
Required Experience:
  • Proven experience in hands-on recruitment, delivering end-to-end hiring across multiple business units.
  • Experience balancing individual recruitment responsibilities with day-to-day team coordination.
  • Track record in mapping industries, target companies, and competitor talent for proactive sourcing.
  • Experience collaborating with Business Management, Technical Operations, Practice Leadership, Compliance, and HR.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and performance management of TA staff.
  • Knowledge of recruitment campaign design, interviewing, offering, and pre-onboarding workflows.
Required Skills:
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills to manage day-to-day TA operations.
  • Hands-on recruitment capability across diverse roles and levels.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical skills to track KPIs, recruitment metrics, and talent mapping data.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, unblock issues, and maintain operational efficiency.

Preferred Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Professional recruitment or HR certifications (e.g., RecCert, CIPD, AIRS, LinkedIn Talent Solutions) desirable but not mandatory.
