Skillset/experience required:
- Experience in the development of embedded software with C, C++ (Ada experience could also be beneficial, but not essential).
- Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems.
- Can do and flexible approach - you will enjoy solving technical problems that sometimes extend beyond the bounds of 'software'.
- Excellent analytical and design ability, including review and critical analysis.
- The ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- An awareness of developing and deploying software on real-time Operating Systems, Risc-V and ARM-based processing platforms.
- Knowledge of modern software development practices.
- Advantageous to have knowledge of standards such as DefStan 00-55 & DO178B/C and restricted coding standards such as MISRA / SPARK.
Responsibilities:
- You will be developing embedded, real-time software.
- This is a hands-on role and requires the continued development and integration of missile subsystem software products and evolutions for future products.
- You will be developing software targeting C, C++ and/or Ada languages.
