Job Summary: The AEM Expert Developer will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable and high-performing digital solutions using Adobe Experience Manager. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality content management systems, personalised user experiences, and optimised performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement components, templates, workflows, and other functionalities using AEM.
- Develop custom AEM modules using Java, Sling models, and JCR (Java Content Repository).
- Integrate AEM with third-party systems, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
- Implement and configure Adobe Marketing Cloud tools in collaboration with other digital platforms.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers, content creators, and marketing teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise on AEM best practices and implementation strategies.
- Optimise AEM configurations for performance, scalability, and security.
- Conduct regular code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure quality.
- Monitor and maintain AEM environments, ensuring uptime and smooth operations.
- Address and resolve any technical issues, bugs, or updates in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- AD0-E134 Adobe Experience Manager Sites Developer Expert certificate.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in AEM development (AEM 6.4 and above preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Experience with OSGi frameworks, Sling models, and Sightly/HTL templating language.
- Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or other Adobe Marketing Cloud tools.
- Proficiency in using version control systems like Git and build tools like Maven.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
