The AEP Data Architect will be a fully hands-on technical lead responsible for designing and implementing customer data architecture, real-time profile enablement, identity stitching, segmentation, activation, and analytics solutions using Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Experience Cloud technologies.
- Design and maintain scalable data architecture within Adobe Experience Platform.
- Design scalable, reusable enterprise data architecture patterns for customer data, analytics, and activation use cases, ensuring alignment across AEM, CRM, Adobe Experience Platform, and downstream channels.
- Define and implement XDM schemas, identity strategies, merge policies, and profile-enabled datasets.
- Design streaming and batch ingestion pipelines integrating AEM, CRM, Ads, APIs, and SaaS platforms.
- Enable audience segmentation and activation using Real-Time Customer Data Platform.
- Collaborate with AEM developers to define event tracking, Web SDK integration, and event taxonomy standards.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting using SQL and Adobe Query Service.
- Ensure data governance, GDPR compliance, consent management, and data quality standards.
- Strong understanding of modern data architecture principles including event-driven architecture, cloud/data lake systems, API-led integration, and scalable real-time and batch processing patterns.
- Experience designing enterprise data models and frameworks covering schema design, metadata management, governance, and handling structured and semi-structured data (JSON/Parquet) across distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of modern enterprise architecture and data architecture frameworks including TOGAF, Zachman, cloud/data lake architecture, API-led integration, event-driven architecture, governance frameworks, metadata management, and scalable real-time data processing patterns.
- Experience with identity stitching, identity namespaces, merge policies, and unified profile creation.
- Experience integrating AEM and Adobe Web SDK for real-time event collection.
- Experience with Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Analysis Workspace.
- Strong SQL skills and experience using Adobe Query Service.
- Understanding of GDPR, PII, consent management, and Adobe data governance frameworks.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture or Enterprise Data Platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.
