A Test Systems Product Safety Engineer is required for a long term contract assignment based in Stevenage.

What you'll be doing:

  • Taking charge of identifying and managing Product Safety requirements derived from hazard and risk assessments
  • Collaborating in line with Project Safety Management Plans
  • Shaping the development of safe design through logical safety arguments, including comprehensive Safety Case justification reports
  • Facilitating hazard identification meetings and maintaining an up-to-date project hazard log
  • Conducting peer reviews and performing verification and assurance tasks to validate the robustness of the Safety Case and its supporting documentation

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • In-depth understanding of engineering safety management processes, including hazard analysis and safety case reports
  • Solid grasp of safety principles within systems engineering and their integration into effective engineering processes
  • Proven experience in creating detailed justification reports
  • Strong knowledge of Safety Engineering principles and practices

Desirable
