A leading global bank is looking for an experienced Payments Business Analyst / Solution Architect to join its EMEA Global Transaction Services Technology team. This role sits at the intersection of payments, treasury, and technology, supporting large-scale regulatory and strategic transformation programmes across corporate banking. You will engage early with the business, shape high-level solution designs, and support delivery teams through build and test.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders to shape payment and treasury solutions
- Define high-level designs (HLDs) and functional requirements for EMEA payments initiatives
- Assess end-to-end impacts across systems, operations, and processes
- Support delivery teams throughout the project life cycle, providing design and solution guidance
- Ensure solutions align to enterprise architecture standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience as a Payments Business Analyst, Functional Designer, or Solution Architect
- Strong corporate banking domain knowledge: Payments, Liquidity, Cash Management, Virtual Accounts
- Solid understanding of UK & EU payment schemes and cross-border payments
- Proven background in end-to-end solution design across multiple technology platforms
- Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and leading offshore teams
- TOGAF or architecture certification
