Working alongside a prestigious business based in Nottingham, I am looking for a Project Manager to join a thriving projects team full of energy and collaboration. They are incredibly well-known in their sector with a flawless reputation and an enviable portfolio of clients. This company is investing heavily in its transformation and strategic growth agenda.
As a business, they are in a great position as income and growth are continually rising year on year. Growth has been both organic through good placing and hard work in their market, and through some acquisitions. They have an enviable portfolio of clients, including huge corporate and public sector clients, and are recognised as a leader in their market on both a local and national scale.
With a huge agenda of projects happening and on the horizon (both IT and strategy focused), I need an up-and-coming Project Manager to support. This role sits at the heart of the projects team, supporting the delivery of a broad mix of initiatives from IT system implementations to wider business and strategic projects. It is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their project management career who enjoys bringing order, clarity, and momentum to busy workstreams while gaining genuine exposure to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
You will be involved in coordinating and tracking new projects from the outset, helping the team stay organised and aligned as work progresses. A key part of the role will be supporting the setup and day-to-day administration of their project management tools, as well as working with documentation, reporting, and continual improvements to how projects are run. You will also play an important part in spotting inefficiencies or gaps in processes and helping suggest practical improvements, while producing clear and concise updates that keep senior leadership informed.
They are keen to speak with someone who already has some exposure to project management or project coordination tools, ideally Smartsheet or similar, and who has experience in a professional services or similar fast-moving environment. If you enjoy being the person who keeps things moving, takes pride in well-run processes, and likes making sure stakeholders are informed and projects stay on track, this would be a strong next step into a project management career.
It is a super supportive and collaborative environment where you will rub shoulders with and learn from some incredibly talented people, working for a knowledgeable manager who will support you every step of the way. Therefore, we would love you to be in the office 3 days a week on site at their state-of-the-art offices in Nottingham and the rest from home. You will receive up to £40k plus superb benefits, working with a lovely team for a highly regarded business.
