Python Full Stack Developer
Location: London - 3 days a week onsite (non-negotiable)
Duration: 6 months Initial Contract
Rate: £700-£800 per day Inside IR35
The Role
We're supporting a highly reputable Asset Management client who are seeking an experienced Python Full Stack Developer to join a high-performing technology team delivering business-critical investment and risk management solutions. You'll play a key role in the design, development and enhancement of enterprise-grade applications, working across the full software development life cycle. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in Python engineering, Azure cloud technologies and modern Front End development, with the ability to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions within a fast-paced Agile environment. This role will involve developing and enhancing cloud-native applications, building integrations across data platforms, supporting investment risk data initiatives and leveraging modern AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery efficiency and code quality.
Essential Experience
Experience working within the Asset Management or Investment Management sectors
Extensive hands-on Python development experience, delivering enterprise-level applications beyond Scripting or proof-of-concept work
Strong experience working within Microsoft Azure environments, including Azure Functions and associated cloud-native services
Commercial experience developing Front End applications using Angular
Experience working with Snowflake as part of modern data platform and analytics solutions
Comfortable leveraging AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude or similar technologies to enhance engineering productivity
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing and code quality standards
Experience working within Agile delivery environments and collaborating closely with technical and business stakeholders
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
Knowledge of investment risk data, risk analytics platforms or portfolio management systems
