An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Buyer or Procurement professional to join a growing IT Procurement team within a leading technology-driven organisation. This role offers the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of technology-related spend, supporting both UK and European stakeholders. Whether you're already working within IT procurement or come from a broader indirect procurement background and are looking to specialise in technology, this position provides an excellent platform for development and progression.
Working as part of an international team, you’ll be involved in a wide range of procurement activities across software, technology services, infrastructure and emerging technologies, while building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end procurement activities for a variety of IT and technology-related projects.
- Support sourcing initiatives across software, SaaS, hardware, cyber security, networking, cloud and technology services.
- Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and suppliers across Europe.
- Manage supplier negotiations and commercial discussions to deliver value and mitigate risk.
- Support Category Managers on strategic procurement projects and sourcing initiatives.
- Drive procurement best practice and ensure compliance with company processes and governance.
- Contribute to supplier performance management and ongoing commercial improvement activities.
- Experience within procurement, purchasing or sourcing functions.
- Exposure to IT procurement, technology procurement or indirect procurement categories.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence managing stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ability to take ownership of procurement projects and deliver results.
- Interest in developing knowledge across technology and digital procurement categories.
- Comfortable working within an international environment.
- IT procurement or technology sourcing experience.
- Indirect procurement background with a desire to move into IT procurement.
- MCIPS qualification or a willingness to work towards it.
- Experience supporting multi-site or international stakeholders.
