Akkodis are seeking a skilled IT and OT (Operational Technology) Engineer to join our team within the aerospace industry. This role requires a strong blend of IT and OT expertise, providing essential on-site support to ensure the smooth operation of both Information Technology and Operational Technology systems. You will be responsible for investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across a diverse range of systems, applications, and hardware. This role is crucial to maintaining high standards of performance and security in our IT/OT infrastructure.
As a member of our IT/OT team, you will play a vital role in supporting cutting-edge aerospace technology and maintaining high-performance operational standards. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage Windows Server migrations
- Conduct hardware and software updates for OT applications, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Manage tooling application issues and ensure continuity of operations
- Support network connectivity across various platforms, including Wifi and machine-based networks
- Perform L1.5 ticket management using support desk applications and ensure timely issue resolution
- Handle operating system issues and provide expert-level troubleshooting for various platforms and systems
- Document issues and solutions in Knowledge Management (KM) articles for future reference
- Implement automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational downtime
- Ensure compliance with company and industry standards, including network and data security
Required skills
- Experience with Windows OS and Windows Servers
- Familiarity with metrology applications
- Proficiency with ServiceNow for ticketing and ITSM
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot network systems
