We're looking for a proactive and experienced ServiceNow Platform Specialist to join a forward-thinking team and take ownership of the company's ServiceNow platform. This is a hands-on, pivotal role where you'll be the internal expert and go-to person for all things ServiceNow. You won't just be maintaining ITSM - you'll shape how the platform supports the wider business, including an exciting new (niche) module being implemented this year.
This is a rare opportunity for someone who loves ServiceNow administration and configuration, wants to work closely with stakeholders across IT, Finance, and Legal, and is ready to take responsibility for the platform's health, optimisation, and growth.
What You'll Do- Take ownership of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it's secure, efficient, and delivering value across the business.
- Administer, configure, and maintain ITSM and key customisations, supporting the wider IT and business teams.
- Support the rollout and ongoing maintenance of the new module, providing internal guidance and governance.
- Work with Finance, Legal, and IT stakeholders to ensure requests are handled sensibly, efficiently, and within best practice.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise platform performance, including workflows, dashboards, reports, and integrations.
- Develop and maintain documentation, run user support sessions, and champion best practice across the business.
- Act as the bridge between technical design and business use, helping the organisation make the most of its ServiceNow investment.
- Proven experience in ServiceNow administration and development (architecture would be a huge plus), with strong ITSM knowledge.
- Hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and optimising the platform (UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Workflows, Flow Designer, Service Portal, ACLs).
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and translating business needs into technical feasibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive "take ownership" mindset.
- Experience with reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and contribute to wider platform growth initiatives.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) essential; ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) desirable.
- You'll be the central point of knowledge for a growing platform used by IT, Legal, and potentially HR in the future.
- You'll join at a phase of transformation, helping the business scale its ServiceNow usage and governance.
- There's clear career progression, with the opportunity to expand into application lifecycle management, integrations, and wider business modules.
- Flexible working, but with onsite workshops in the Midlands to collaborate with stakeholders and guide the build.
- Be part of a small, highly engaged team where your expertise directly shapes the platform and the business.
