Are you a Data Engineering enthusiast who thrives from designing and implementing robust ETL processes, highly scalable data structures and data pipelines within a truly enterprise-scale data processing environment? Do you want to work on an AI-Driven SaaS platform that's utilised by some of the biggest brands in the world? If so, this is your chance to help my client build their new Data Infrastructure and leverage the power of data, working on large-scale data processing systems.

They have an award-winning, enterprise-scale SaaS platform that has revolutionised its industry and is being utilised by some of the biggest companies and brand names globally. They currently have hundreds of clients and millions of users!

They built the platform from scratch several years ago using no legacy code and only the best technology stack and enterprise tools within a true Microservices environment. Data is at the heart of what they do, and with an ambitious roadmap ahead, they are looking for a senior data engineer to join them.

I am looking for someone to take ownership of data modelling and engineering across the business. You will have a robust Infrastructure background and a good understanding of the complexities that come when moving one system to another.

Let's talk tech. The platform integrates Python and Snowflake, and you’ll need a deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB or similar). You’ll also have exposure to streaming platforms like Apache Kafka and be able to develop and maintain ELT, bringing a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

Essentially, a strong Data Engineer who is a Snowflake enthusiast. You will understand Apache Kafka to a high standard and have solid knowledge of Apache Airflow, with good AWS exposure.

I’d love you to be an advocate of Agile as they place a huge emphasis on Agile Delivery and Scrum, so it’s important you share a similar mindset and appreciate continuous integration and deployment.

This is a great chance to join a firm that does things the right way. They do not compromise on quality and take it very seriously. They place a huge emphasis on delivery, so it’s critical we find someone that shares and owns this mindset!

They have awesome offices in Nottingham but are remote-first, allowing you to work from home if you wish. They treat their staff well and believe in providing a good work-life balance.

Salary up to £70k plus amazing benefits.
