This role is perfect for someone who combines deep hands‑on testing expertise with strong consulting skills and a passion for influencing how large‑scale programmes are won, designed and delivered. You will work across high‑impact Financial Services projects covering areas such as banking, payments, insurance, fintech, asset management, and regulatory platforms. Alongside leading delivery, you will act as a key contributor to business development efforts - helping shape testing solutions, create compelling bid responses, and support leadership in building the FS testing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute heavily to RFPs, ITTs, RFIs, and bid submissions
- Shape end‑to‑end testing solutions, delivery models, tooling approaches, and commercials for FS pursuits
- Develop clear win‑themes, value propositions and competitive differentiators for testing offerings
- Support proposal writing, solution walkthroughs, and client orals during bid cycles
- Build out new propositions and accelerators for the FS testing practice
Test Programme Leadership
- Lead complex multi‑stream testing programmes across FS clients
- Define and drive test strategy, governance, assurance, automation, NFR, accessibility and full E2E quality models
- Oversee delivery across onshore/offshore teams
- Provide senior leadership during delivery challenges, escalations, or programme resets
Consulting & Advisory
- Advise FS clients on QA transformation, assurance, test maturity, tooling and delivery models
- Carry out test audits, risk assessments and quality reviews
- Shape practical testing roadmaps aligned to business and regulatory drivers
Practice Growth & People Leadership
- Mentor junior managers and developing testing talent
- Support leadership with pipeline development and sector growth
- Contribute to capability building around automation, AI testing, NFR and QE best practices
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in test management within Financial Services
- Demonstrated experience leading bids / RFPs / ITTs and shaping commercial testing solutions
- Blend of delivery and consulting skills - able to engage directly with senior FS stakeholders
- Solid understanding of FS environments such as retail banking, payments, insurance, asset management, fintech, or regulatory change
- Experience leading multi‑vendor, multi‑stream or large‑scale test programmes
- Strong knowledge across testing disciplines (automation, NFR, assurance, accessibility, QE)
