If you’re the kind of person who enjoys getting properly under the bonnet of digital data - not just analysing dashboards, but actually building and implementing the tracking that makes the data reliable in the first place - this one’s worth a look.
We’re working with a well-established international organisation that’s continuing to invest heavily in its digital platforms across Europe. As their online products grow, they’re looking for someone who can take ownership of how digital behaviour is tracked, understood, and translated into meaningful insights for product and marketing teams.
This role sits in the data warehouse and digital data function, operating right between the product engineering teams and the analytics teams. In simple terms - you’ll make sure the tracking is implemented properly, the data is accurate, and the insights actually drive better product decisions.
What makes this role interesting is the mix of technical implementation and commercial insight. You won’t just be analysing what’s already there - you’ll be involved in shaping how data is captured across new features and digital products from the start.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll take ownership of digital tracking across a range of online platforms, working closely with product teams whenever new features or digital initiatives are launched. That means designing and implementing the tracking frameworks, validating that data is being captured correctly, and investigating when something doesn’t quite look right.
- A big part of the role involves collaborating with product managers, marketing teams, engineers and analysts to ensure the organisation is measuring the right things. You’ll help test tracking implementations, troubleshoot issues where data isn’t behaving as expected, and ensure that digital activity flows cleanly into the wider data warehouse environment.
- Alongside the technical work, you’ll analyse user behaviour, campaign performance and product engagement to surface insights that help improve the digital experience. You’ll also help build dashboards and reports that allow stakeholders to understand how the platforms are performing and where improvements can be made.
It’s a role where technical curiosity and commercial thinking come together - someone who enjoys figuring out how digital behaviour translates into real business outcomes.
What they’re looking for
- Experience implementing digital tracking using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Strong understanding of digital measurement frameworks and event tracking.
- Ability to test and validate tracking implementations across digital products.
- SQL skills for querying and analysing data.
- Experience building dashboards or reporting outputs (Power BI beneficial but not essential).
- Comfortable working with product teams, engineers, and marketing stakeholders.
- Ability to translate digital behaviour data into meaningful insights.
- Experience in marketing, e-commerce, marketplaces, or digital product environments would be particularly valuable.
The details
- Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 gross annual.
- Location: Lisbon.
- Hybrid: 1 day per week in the office.
