Data is at the core of their operations, and this transformation aims to elevate their Data strategy to the next level. I\'m seeking a seasoned Data Engineer who has experience working on large, complex data platforms with production environments, managing all aspects of their Data lake during transformation. Technically, you should be familiar with monitoring tools like CloudWatch and Datadog, and have exposure to modern Data lakes and ETL platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks. You must be proficient in Python and capable of making architectural changes. Ownership of ETL pipelines is crucial to ensure smooth data flow through transformations. AWS exposure is also important, with understanding of services like Glue and S3. This role is pivotal in the company\'s roadmap, as you will be the \"go-to\" person for Data, engaging with senior leadership on long-term data engineering strategies. You will be a leader within the organization, mentoring and inspiring the Data Engineering team, promoting best practices and innovative solutions. You should be passionate about Data Engineering, stay updated with the latest trends, and be eager to contribute to a large, talented team working on a substantial estate. The environment is fast-paced, demanding quick thinking and adaptability, but highly rewarding with opportunities for skill development.
