Brief

I'm looking for a Data Centre Operations Analyst to join a growing tech team delivering essential support and infrastructure services for enterprise clients across UK data centres. You'll be supporting the deployment, operation, and maintenance of data centre infrastructure whilst providing hands-on technical and operational support to both external and internal users.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing and maintaining customer racks, cabling, and power
  • Handling hardware installs, moves, and decommissions ("lift and shift")
  • Providing on-site support for audits, cross-connects, and tape/media handling
  • Logging and updating work in ticketing and tracking systems
  • Ensuring the data centre floor is clean, secure, and client-ready
  • Working closely with customers and internal teams on site requests and support
  • Participating in 24/7 shift rota, with travel between regional sites as needed

What you'll bring

  • At least 1 year of hands-on data centre or infrastructure experience
  • Strong understanding of cabling, racking, and IT hardware support
  • Confidence using ticketing systems and documenting work accurately
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with solid communication skills
  • A full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites

Bonus if you have

  • Certifications like CCNA, MCSA, or ITIL
  • Experience with media handling and tape rotation
  • Familiarity with Office 365, SharePoint, or Excel
