Role Overview: Experienced Technical Architect with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data architecture within the investment banking domain. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data platforms using modern technologies such as MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and other tools that enable fast data storage, querying, and exposure. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on technical skills and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and design AI-driven data platforms to support investment banking applications and regulatory reporting needs.
- Define and implement data storage, retrieval, and exposure strategies leveraging technologies like MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and other NoSQL/relational systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineering teams to deliver solutions that meet performance, scalability, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure data provenance, integrity, and security across all layers of the architecture.
- Drive innovation in AI integration, including model deployment, inference optimization, and real-time analytics.
- Establish best practices for data architecture, including caching strategies, indexing, and query optimization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Partner with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal deployment and cost efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in technology organizations, with a strong focus on architecture and enterprise solutions.
- 5+ years in a similar capacity as a Technical Architect, specifically working with:
- MongoDB (schema design, performance tuning)
- Redis (caching, high-speed data access)
- Elasticsearch (search and indexing strategies)
- Other modern data technologies for fast storage and retrieval.
