Our client is seeking a Core Java Low Latency Developer to support a major transformation of their distribution connectivity platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise low-latency Core Java systems with microsecond‑level performance focus
• Measure, analyse, and tune end‑to‑end latency
• Support migration from a legacy platform to a new low‑latency architecture
• Build and maintain pricing distribution connectivity across venues
• Deliver significant FIX protocol integration work

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong Core Java development skills
• Proven experience with low-latency system design and optimisation

Hands on experience with

• Low‑latency collections
• Chronicle Queue
  • Agrona Ring Buffer – will be tested)
  • UDP messaging (highly desirable)
• Solid FIX protocol experience
• Basic FX knowledge
