Background
I am looking for Data Engineers at all levels to join a leading consultancy who are investing heavily in their Quantexa practice. These roles can be based anywhere in the UK; however, main Tech hubs are based in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds. You must be willing to travel to your local office and to clients as and when required. The successful candidates must either hold or be eligible for SC clearance.
The Role
As a Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineer, you will lead / contribute towards the technical development of Quantexa based solutions, bringing deep hands-on experience with data ingestion, transformation, and contextual data modelling. The Data Engineers will work closely with Quantexa Architects, Tech Leads, and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that address complex business challenges. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust data pipelines, configuring Quantexa components, and supporting the overall success of client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise data ingestion pipelines and transformations within the Quantexa platform using Spark and Scala.
- Configure and implement Quantexa components such as Entity Resolution, Scoring, and Network Generation to support specific use cases.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads and Solution Architects to design scalable and performant Quantexa solutions.
- Translate business and technical requirements into efficient, production-ready data engineering solutions.
- Support the integration of Quantexa into broader enterprise data architectures, working closely with cloud, security, and DevOps teams.
The Person
Must have previous experience in a similar Data Engineering role with proven hands-on experience of designing and implementing Quantexa solutions for clients. Absolutely must possess Quantexa Technical Certification. Previous experience in leading client data engineering or integration projects is required for more senior engineers. Additional technical experience in Scala, Python and Databricks is also required. Must either hold or be eligible for SC clearance.
