· Reconciliation & Operation of Company Bank Accounts.
· Monthly & Quarterly VAT Returns.
· Budgets & Rolling forecast support.
· Ad-hoc investigations and business case preparations.
· Pensions management.
· Cash management, invoices and payroll.
· Supporting Chief Accountant to prepare management accounts.
· Submitting CIS statements.
· Creating VAT invoices.
· Dealing with HMRC queries.
· A high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
· An effective team player who also understands when to ask for support.
· Confident and hard-working, with an energy and a sense of humour.
· Excellent communicator in both written and oral format; able to facilitate clear, concise, and timely communication amongst others.
· Ability to work under pressure with a keen attention to detail, logical and methodical.
· Objective and knows when to accept accountability.
Qualifications & Experience:
· IT Literacy skills essential, knowledge of Microsoft Office is desirable.
· Knowledge of Xero essential.
· Excellent numerical skills.
· Experience of construction industry.
