We are currently working with a large industrial company based in Staffordshire who are looking for an IT & Marketing Buyer to join their team.
Role:
- The IT category covers all of software, hardware & services across every business unit.
- The Marketing category covers a broad range (suppliers for marketing events, online platforms/tools for selling a new product).
- Manage the whole strategy and take ownership over the whole strategy of the commodity.
- RFI, RFP, RFQ ownership.
- Scout, source, negotiate & onboard all suppliers with total autonomy.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in IT Purchasing.
- Prior category management experience (Scouting, RFx processes, negotiating).
- Strong understanding of software purchasing for industrial environments.
- Ideally CIPS certified.
- Previous management of APV above £10m.
