We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator who’s ready to support our growing team and help shape the future of Akkar. You won’t need micromanaging. You understand how to manage HR processes efficiently, maintain accuracy in employee records, and deliver excellent support across the employee lifecycle. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of key administrative responsibilities across onboarding, compliance, data management, and HR systems. Your goal is to ensure smooth operations, contribute to a positive employee experience, and support our wider people agenda as we scale.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Report directly to the HR Business Partner to provide comprehensive administrative support to Akkar’s HR division.
  • Maintain and update employee records, documentation, and databases globally.
  • Take ownership of our employee self-service HR platforms, ensuring all information and documentation is up to date and correct.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, reference checks, offer letter creation, updating the internal ATS, etc.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, scheduling, and exit formalities.
  • Support visa and immigration teams with documentation.
  • Assist with global payroll processes by providing relevant employee information (time off, sick, etc).
  • Ensure company policies are consistently applied and updated to align with relevant regional laws and the company\’s high standards.
  • Support audits and ensure timely completion of HR documentation and regulatory filings.
  • Assist in implementing HR processes improvements and documentation standardised globally.
  • Act as an internal point of contact for HR enquiries for internal staff.
  • Assist in organising and running employee engagement activities.
  • Consistently apply a balanced, strategic approach to HR tasks, aligning employee needs with business objectives
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail, consistently delivering accurate and thorough work.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity when assisting the HRBP with sensitive employee relations matters.
  • Be keen to grow and deliver within the HR function, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and contributing to impactful HR activities
  • Coordinate with the HR Business Partner and Learning and Development Manager to support learning initiatives and manage Akkar’s Learning Management System (LMS)
