We're working with a well-established European engineering business specialising in high-performance pump solutions for complex industrial applications, particularly handling liquids containing solids or gases. With over 70 years of heritage, they’ve built a strong global reputation across wastewater, chemical, and industrial markets, and are now pushing further into the energy sector. The UK business is currently small but growing, offering a unique opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in scaling the operation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving new business development across the UK, while managing key existing accounts
- Building strong relationships with customers across wastewater, chemical, and industrial sectors
- Selling engineered, application-led solutions (not just off-the-shelf products)
- Working closely with an internal applications engineering team on more complex projects
- Travelling 3–4 days per week to meet customers across the UK
- Playing a key role in growing the UK business, with clear progression into a General Manager role within ~2 years
What You Can Bring
- Engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
- ~5+ years’ experience in technical / capital equipment sales
- Strong understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of selling
- Experience in industries such as pumps, fluid handling, wastewater, or process industries
- A proactive, driven mindset with a passion for winning new business
- Ambition and potential to step into a leadership / GM role
