This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and operations, providing critical insights and support to drive our business forward.
As a Business Controller, you will act as a trusted financial partner to Project and Line Managers, ensuring robust financial planning, accurate forecasting, and efficient expenditure management. You will play a key role in steering our financial strategy and ensuring compliance with industry standards, all while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial planning and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with Project and Line Managers by coordinating monthly financial project reviews and offering insights for informed decision-making.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring they align with approved budgets.
- Assess project revenue based on Percentage of Cost (POC) and Time & Materials (T&M) principles.
- Reconcile monthly project work-in-progress, manage financial records, and prepare reports for project and contract status reviews.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to local and Group senior management.
Required Experience
- Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
- Proven experience in financial management and controlling.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management or a similar role.
- Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP, especially SAP S4/Hana, is an advantage.
Required Education
- Degree in Finance or related subject.
