Job Summary & Purpose: The Account Executive is responsible for acquiring new service provider partners and expanding the company’s footprint across target markets. Operating in a sell-to model, this role focuses on winning new service providers; building relationships, managing the full sales cycle, and driving revenue growth through onboarding and activation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the CRO and Head of Marketing to target a defined list of circa 140 new service providers globally.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales operations to generate new leads and optimize partner acquisition campaigns.
- Engage, and convert new service provider partners across defined regions and segments.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and contract close.
- Effectively handover certain Service Providers to the sell through team for ongoing account management.
- Maintain accurate CRM records (HubSpot) for all pipeline activity, forecasts, and outcomes.
- Track and report on sales performance against quarterly and annual targets.
- Occasionally support cross-sell and upsell into existing accounts when this role owns the customer relationship.
- Travel as required for customer meetings, industry events (including speaking opportunities), or sales workshops.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record in B2B new business sales, ideally within SaaS, telecoms, or analytics environments.
- Experience engaging with C-level executives at service providers or channel partners.
- Strong pipeline management and closing skills.
- Ability to prospect, qualify, and manage multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, commercial negotiation, and presentation skills.
- CRM proficiency (HubSpot desirable).
- Commercially driven.
