Akiş Enerji is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Solar EPC in London, UK.

About the Role

You will take full ownership of solar projects across the entire lifecycle — from site identification, planning and permitting through to construction management and final commissioning. This is a hands‑on leadership role at the heart of our UK growth strategy.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end project management of utility‑scale solar PV projects
  • Leading planning applications, grid connection, and DNO coordination
  • Managing EPC contracts, procurement, and subcontractor performance
  • Acting as Principal Contractor and/or Principal Designer under CDM 2015
  • Budget control, programme management, and risk mitigation
  • Stakeholder management – developers, investors, local authorities, and DNOs
  • Ensuring HSE compliance across all project phases
  • Reporting progress to senior leadership and investors

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (essential)
  • 8+ years of project management experience in solar or renewable energy
  • Proven track record on UK utility‑scale solar EPC projects
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning system, grid connection process, and CDM 2015
  • SMSTS, NEBOSH or equivalent H&S certification (preferred)
  • Excellent commercial, negotiation and contract management skills
  • No UK visa sponsorship required – must have the right to work in the UK
  • Based in or willing to relocate to London
