To develop and support strategic employer partnerships that create vacancy and recruitment opportunities at scale across the UK. The role focuses on national and multi-site employer relationships, employer onboarding, account development and the generation of opportunities that can be fulfilled through AKG's local delivery network.

Key Relationships/Interactions

  • Internal
    • National Employer Services Manager: Work closely with the National Employer Services Manager to deliver national employer engagement plans and agreed priorities. Maintain visibility of account progress, opportunities and risks. Support national pipeline development and employer growth.
    • Local Employer Services Manager and Local Employer Services Consultants: Work with local teams to hand over employer opportunities clearly and at the right point. Share information on vacancies, employer expectations and account plans. Support joined-up delivery across national and local functions.
    • Business Managers / Delivery Teams / Other Teams: Collaborate with wider teams, including marketing, skills and operations, to support a coordinated employer offer. Share employer insight to help shape services and delivery.
  • External
    • National and Multi-site Employers: Engage with employers operating across multiple locations to understand workforce need and create opportunities. Build and maintain strong account relationships. Promote AKG's services and employer proposition in a clear and professional way.
    • Sector and Employer Networks: Participate in relevant events, networks and partnerships to expand employer reach and identify new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the growth of AKG's national employer relationships, helping to create opportunity at scale across the UK. The role will focus on account development, employer onboarding and vacancy generation, working closely with local teams to support effective fulfilment.
  • Strategic Employer Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with national and multi-site employers in line with agreed priorities and account plans.
  • Employer Onboarding: Support employer onboarding and account development in line with AKG's agreed processes and service standards.
  • Volume Vacancy Generation: Generate volume vacancies and wider recruitment opportunities for fulfilment by local teams.
  • Opportunity Development: Identify employer needs and align these to AKG's participant base, delivery strengths and organisational priorities.
  • Account Management: Maintain accurate records of employer interactions, pipeline and vacancy opportunities in agreed systems.
  • National to Local Handover: Communicate opportunities clearly to local teams and support effective handover into fulfilment.
  • KPI Achievement: Work to agreed KPIs relating to employer growth, vacancy generation and account development.
  • Employer-facing Activity: Support employer events, partnership activity and national campaigns as required.
  • Promotion of Social Value: Promote the social value and practical benefits of working with AKG and inclusive recruitment.

Essential/Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Essential:
    • Proven ability to build and maintain strong employer relationships.
    • Experience in account management, business development or employer engagement.
    • Strong communication and influencing skills.
    • Experience working to KPIs and performance targets.
    • Good understanding of employer need and recruitment practice.
    • Strong data accuracy and CRM discipline.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience of working with national, strategic or multi-site employers.
    • Background in employability, skills, recruitment or workforce development.
    • Knowledge of social value and inclusive recruitment.
    • Experience supporting partnership development or sector-based employer activity.
