We’re hiring a Senior Consultant to join Akeso, working on projects that drive meaningful change across healthcare and life sciences. At Akeso, we partner with healthcare providers and suppliers to solve complex challenges across strategy, transformation, operational efficiency, and financial performance – with a clear focus on improving patient outcomes and system sustainability.
This is a role where you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful workstreams, collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, and help turn analysis into practical, actionable change.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading workstreams across strategy, transformation, operational efficiency, and financial performance improvement initiatives
- Producing clear, high-quality, client-ready outputs
- Working with senior stakeholders to shape insights and recommendations
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Contributing to how we continue to grow and strengthen as a firm
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is motivated by delivering meaningful change in healthcare
- Has 3+ years’ experience in consulting or a similar project-based environment
- Is comfortable taking ownership and contributing to delivery
- Has experience contributing to operational improvement initiatives (e.g. service redesign, supply chain, procurement)
- Has strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Communicates clearly and builds strong relationships with stakeholders
- Has experience preparing client-ready reports and presentations
- Works well in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment
- Has familiarity with the UK healthcare system, NHS structures, or a regulated environment (beneficial, not essential)
