  • Developing category strategies and business cases for large-scale transformation
  • Delivering cost optimisation using key sourcing levers (price, demand, process, risk)
  • Supporting supply chain optimisation, including network design and service transformation
  • Managing senior client stakeholders and translating insight into action
  • Leading project teams and ensuring high-quality delivery
  • Supporting business development and growth

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong background in strategic sourcing / procurement
  • Has delivered end-to-end programmes with tangible outcomes
  • Is comfortable being hands-on while leading teams and projects
  • Brings strong commercial acumen and stakeholder confidence
  • Has experience in consulting or a similar delivery-focused environment
  • Is proactive, self-sufficient, and low-touch in how they operate
  • Has exposure to supply chain, contracting, or operational improvement (beneficial)
  • Has awareness of digital / AI in procurement (nice to have)

Why join Akeso:

  • Meaningful, high-impact work in a sector that matters
  • A growing consultancy where you can shape both projects and the firm
  • A hands-on environment – not just strategy, but delivery
  • Generous and flexible annual leave
  • Enhanced family support
  • Private healthcare, life assurance, and an employee assistance programme
  • Dedicated personal and study days to support your development
  • Pension and long-term benefits recognising service and wellbeing
  • Regular team socials and opportunities to connect across the business
