Our Instrumentation team in London is now looking for a Principal Designer. What will you be doing?

  • Review and incorporate customer’s specs and requirements from the contractual scope of work.
  • Calculate call-off and maintain the bulk material needs (Non tagged items).
  • Establish and maintain material take-offs for tagged/non-tagged items and equipment for measurement, cost, and weight reporting.
  • Position tagged/non-tagged equipment with respect to process function, fabrication method, operational access, and maintainability.
  • Perform field- and cabling topology and detailed termination design, including production of field topology documentation/overview drawings, block diagrams, termination, and loop details.
  • Work out schedules and MPPs as per project requirements.
  • Manage meetings with clients and fabrication yards.

  • Significant experience in a relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of Norsok standards and international standards.
  • Experience in managing remote teams is desirable.
  • Ability to provide necessary support during installation and MC.
