Job description

At Akeneo, our Product department is the beating heart of our success, driving innovation and shaping the future of commerce. To fuel its growth, we’re expanding our Talent Acquisition team and seeking a passionate Senior Tech Talent Partner. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for attracting, selecting, and hiring top-tier talent across all product roles while actively contributing to improving the tech recruitment practice at Akeneo.

  • Become a key player in our growth story: You’ll be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle for all product roles, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and closing top tech talent.
  • Champion a top candidate experience: Build strong relationships with candidates, providing regular updates and ensuring a smooth and positive journey throughout the hiring process.
  • Partner with hiring managers: Act as a trusted advisor, guiding them through the entire recruitment process and ensuring their hiring needs are met while focusing on speed, quality and diversity.
  • Be a market expert: Analyse and stay informed about market data and trends to inform recruitment strategies and make data-driven decisions.
  • Act as a brand ambassador: Showcase Akeneo as an employer of choice for top tech talent and contribute to the overall employer branding strategy.
  • Promote Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in hiring: Implement strategies to attract and hire a diverse pool of candidates, contributing to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Contribute to the success of the Talent Acquisition team: Actively participate in and drive initiatives for the continuous improvement of the Talent Acquisition function.

Qualifications

  • You have a solid background in full-cycle tech recruitment within the software industry, gained through in-house experience.
  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills and can build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • You have strong sourcing and interviewing skills, enabling you to find and identify the best talent.
  • You have solid negotiation skills, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet the needs of both the candidate and the company.
  • You speak English fluently and have experience hiring in an internal environment.

Interview process

  • Meet your future manager: A 30-minute introductory call where we’ll explore the role in detail and discuss your experience and skills.
  • Meet the team: In this 45-60 minute interview, you’ll gain deeper insights into the role’s responsibilities. The Talent Acquisition team will assess specific sets of skills on topics such as candidate experience, sourcing strategies, and technical recruitment.
  • Meet an Engineering Leader: A 30-minute interview with a future stakeholder. They’ll share more about our hiring needs and evaluate your industry knowledge, your tech recruitment vision and ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers.
  • Task: In this 45-minute role-play, you’ll step into the shoes of a Tech Talent Partner meeting with a hiring manager to open a new role. We’ll assess your ability to understand the manager’s needs, proactively identify and overcome challenges, and position yourself as a trusted talent advisor.
