Join us as an Account Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding Akeneo’s presence within our key Mid‑Market and Enterprise customers. You’ll strategically drive upsell opportunities, secure retention, and ensure long‑term customer satisfaction! Reporting to the VP of Sales, you’ll be part of the North Europe sales team, known for its strong collaboration and collective success, where every contribution is recognised and celebrated. - Upsell and Cross‑Sell Opportunities: Spot and seize upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to maximise account value and align with customer needs.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans to secure long‑term partnerships with key Mid‑Market and Enterprise customers.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture trusted relationships with decision‑makers and C‑levels, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Contract negotiation: Lead contract discussions, managing terms, pricing and legal negotiations while balancing customer retention with revenue growth goals.
- Forecasting and reporting: Use data to maintain accurate forecasts, identify risks, and uncover opportunities.
- Risk mitigation: Proactively address customer challenges to prevent churn and escalate critical issues to senior management when needed to ensure timely resolution.
What we look for:
- You have proven experience in Account Management or as a Customer Success Manager, managing upsell and cross‑sell opportunities in the mid‑market and enterprise segments in the B2B SaaS industry.
- You have a proven track record in expanding business across business units of a given group.
- You have experience leading contract negotiations.
- You have strong analytical skills and use data (customer data, product usage, etc.) to build strategies and make decisions.
- You are familiar with the e‑commerce and martech space.
- You speak English fluently.
Interview process:
- 30‑minute screening call with a member of our Talent Acquisition team
- 45‑minute interview with the VP of Sales, Northern Europe
- 1‑hour interview, including a presentation with the VP of Sales and two stakeholders
