The Value Engineer partners with Customer Success, Professional Services, and the company to deliver our customers the best value-driven approach. Through different frameworks and methods, the Value Engineer analyzes and acts to help identify business objectives and how to tackle them into the Akeneo Product Cloud.

Your responsibilities:

  • Value Strategy and Alignment: Partner with customer success and all the customer-facing roles to define overarching value strategies for high-value opportunities, aligning solution benefits with customers’ strategic objectives and industry-specific challenges.
  • Business Case Development and ROI Analysis: Lead the creation of comprehensive business value reviews (including ROI models) that quantify economic impact, communicate potential gains, and secure executive buy-in for the proposed solutions.
  • Customer Retention: Assist in a proactive approach to the CSM team to tackle customer at-risk situations, helping define the strategy and deliver the value.
  • Executive-Level Presentations and Recommendations: Prepare and deliver boardroom-quality presentations that articulate the solution’s business impact, financial rationale, and strategic alignment, effectively engaging executives and C-level stakeholders.
  • Industry and Domain Expertise: Develop tailored value propositions and use cases by leveraging deep domain knowledge, staying current with industry trends, and integrating best practices into solution recommendations.
  • Internal Training and Enablement: Deliver internal training on new practices that the team will develop and ensure that the CSM team correctly applies new processes and approaches.
  • Continuous Improvement of Value Engineering Practice: Contribute to the evolution of the Value Engineering function by developing methodologies, tools, and frameworks that streamline value-based engagements and support a scalable, repeatable approach.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in value engineering, management consulting, or a similar strategic advisory role, with a proven track record of delivering ROI-driven insights for complex customer engagements.
  • Ability to grasp complex product functionalities, collaborate with technical teams on solution integrations, and communicate product-related benefits in business terms.
  • Skilled in leveraging analytics platforms, spreadsheets, and software to gather insights, visualize data, and create boardroom-quality reports and executive presentations.
