We are seeking an experienced Corporate Travel Sales Manager (TMC & Travel Tech) to join our London team. This is a senior, client-facing role focused on new business development, key account management, and travel technology-led solutions.
You will be responsible for:
- Building a strong sales pipeline
- Leading strategic RFPs
- Managing corporate accounts
- Positioning Akbar Travels as a trusted TMC partner in the UK market
The role involves close collaboration with internal operations and technology teams to deliver seamless, high-value travel management solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively identifying and engaging corporate travel buyers, procurement heads, and decision-makers
- Leading end-to-end RFP and tender processes with data-driven, compelling proposals
- Delivering product demonstrations of Online Booking Tools (OBT) and GDS integrations (Galileo, Sabre, Amadeus)
- Advising clients on sustainability initiatives, including carbon tracking and green travel policies
- Acting as a brand ambassador at industry events such as Business Travel Shows and networking forums
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in corporate travel sales or account management within a TMC or travel tech environment
- Deep understanding of travel management systems, OBTs, and GDS platforms
- Strong knowledge of the corporate travel and travel tech ecosystem
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience working with UK or EMEA corporate travel buyers
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot)
