You will be the cornerstone of our support operations for the Japanese market, resolving critical technical issues, ensuring cloud system security acting as a vital bridge between our global operations and Japanese enterprise stakeholders. You will navigate the diverse expectations of the Japanese market, from the rigorous compliance of financial institutions to the high-velocity demands of the gaming industry.

As a Senior Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting operations for the Japanese market, resolving critical technical issues, and ensuring cloud system security.
  • Acting as a technical evangelist who elevates our global team's capability through mentorship and deep-dive knowledge sharing.
  • Acting as the main contact to proactively analyze and solve technical issues.
  • Collaborating and working closely with internal cross-functional teams to drive problems to resolution.
  • Supporting Japanese-speaking clients and managing complex commercial discussions in Japanese.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have relevant experience in a similar Cloud Support role.
  • Have an understanding of cloud provider ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, etc.
  • Have an understanding of networking protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS and have an understanding of VPN & Proxies.
  • Demonstrate experience with layer 3 and 4 technologies.
  • Have a natural ability to engage, influence, and build trusted relationships with customers in difficult environments.
  • Have native fluency in Japanese and business-level English to communicate complex technical concepts between both languages with cultural context.
