Our Team provides managed services and proactive and reactive support to our global customers. We utilize tools, process and knowledge, integrating and maintaining Akamai security, media, and performance solutions for our clients. We collaborate to solve problems, innovate to provide creative solutions, and work to continuously improve for our customers and our team.
Working in our PS team, you will be responsible for all the technical aspects of delivering security solutions, from integration to maintenance and optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams throughout to ensure the highest quality outcomes.
As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Owning the technical aspects of integration (configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, go-live) of our Security Solutions
- Collaborating with a cross-functional project team to scope, set timelines, create technical solutions, and support the implementation
- Analyzing customer traffic as well as systems and customizing Akamai security solutions to answer customers' security issues
- Delivering advanced Professional Services such as training, consultancy workshops and optimizations according to customer requirements
- Participating in ongoing training initiatives to up-skill yourself and to train others
- Attending onsite visits or working remotely to deploy Akamai products and configure them as required
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have experience in web security projects or in supporting security including understanding of modern web attacks
- Demonstrate good understanding of web technologies including DNS, HTTP and HTTPS
- Have experience using Linux, scripting and log analysis
- Have experience providing technical solutions and support in a customer facing role
- Have a problem-solving mentality to articulate complex technology simply with great interpersonal and presentation skills
- Show proactivity and work with a sense of urgency with a constant desire to learn
