As a Solutions Engineer, you will sit at the heart of the sales process. You will build relationships, become a trusted advisor to our customers and deliver innovative solutions. Responsibilities Growing revenue and acquiring new business by evangelizing Akamai\\\’s technology to existing and prospective customers. Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate. Engaging with customers during the sales-cycle to gather requirements and develop proposals, design, delivery, demos and proof-of-concepts. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to strengthen customer relationships by becoming the go-to person for technical queries. What You Will Need Experience in a technical pre-sales/sales engineering, consulting, or customer facing role delivering technical products or services. Knowledge in security and Internet technologies, including API security, content delivery and web architecture (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, TLS). Fluency in cloud computing, including Kubernetes, storage solutions and developer tools. Interpersonal savvy, a passion to solve problems, and a customer focused mindset. Thirst for learning and embracing new technologies. Good team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment.
