We focus on building long-term partnerships by understanding our customers\' technical, operational, & commercial goals, and aligning Akamai\'s portfolio of products & services to meet their needs.

As a Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Account Planning & execution against your Target Account List.
  • Demonstrating your hunting strategy through adopting a \'right solution, right time\' approach, meeting your target customers\' needs.
  • Collaborating with Sales Specialists, Marketing & Channel Teams on your \'Hunting Strategy.\'
  • Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting.
  • Adoption of \'hunting\' sales tools & best practices.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure your customers realize the value of their Akamai services during onboarding.

To be successful, you should have:

  • Experience selling enterprise-class technology software, SaaS, internet-based solutions to enterprise companies.
  • Experience in account management with short-term and long-term planning, selling value at C-Level.
  • A good understanding of technology and the Internet, including cybersecurity.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, results-oriented environment, building executive relationships with high-level customers.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
