As a Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for: Account Planning & execution against your Target Account List. Demonstrating your hunting strategy through adopting a \’right solution, right time\’ approach, meeting your target customers\’ needs. Collaborating with Sales Specialists, Marketing & Channel Teams on your \’Hunting Strategy.\’ Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting. Adoption of \’hunting\’ sales tools & best practices. Working with cross-functional teams to ensure your customers realize the value of their Akamai services during onboarding. To be successful, you should have: Experience selling enterprise-class technology software, SaaS, internet-based solutions to enterprise companies. Experience in account management with short-term and long-term planning, selling value at C-Level. A good understanding of technology and the Internet, including cybersecurity. Experience working in a collaborative, results-oriented environment, building executive relationships with high-level customers. Good written and verbal communication skills.
