Our platform empowers enterprises to create modern solutions to the world\’s problems.Responsibilities Getting in early on an exceptionally rare and impactful projectWorking with a small team to solve complex issuesDesigning systems that scaleWorking to define the next generation of cloud toolingWhat You Need Demonstrate relevant experience and education in Computer Science or a related fieldHave proven professional experience in Go or C++Have solid experience building high-performance, reliable systems (profiling, concurrency, memory/latency optimisation, and performance debugging)Have shipped production software end-to-end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, triage, incident response, and root-cause analysisShow proven experience in designing and improving complex distributed systems, particularly with performance-critical system development expertiseBe comfortable working in an Agile development environment (iterative delivery, reviews, planning, and continuous improvement)Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai\’s Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
