Job Description

Akamai is seeking a Channel Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate qualified pipeline through our partner ecosystem in the UK&I region. The role sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and channel, activating partners to drive net‑new opportunities and supporting the early stages of the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Drive partner‑led pipeline through outbound prospecting and account mapping.
  • Execute co‑sell motions with Channel Managers and Account Executives.
  • Support partner campaigns, events, and follow‑up on leads.
  • Conduct account research using intent data and partner insights.
  • Qualify opportunities and ensure successful handoff to sales.
  • Develop early‑stage deal registrations to create velocity in the channel pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Outbound prospecting experience or equivalent SDR/BDR/Inside Sales experience.
  • Experience identifying business needs through information gathering to pre‑qualify opportunities.
  • Comfortable speaking with decision makers via social, email, phone, and video.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn, and 6sense.
  • Team player with a desire to grow within the organization.
