Ak a Recruitment are excited to bring you this Bodyshop Technician role working for our family run client based in Leeds. Working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, there is opportunity for overtime on Saturdays however this isn’t compulsory. Salary basic starts from £37k, depending on experience. This role could also be open to someone who is newly qualified but is able to hit the ground running.
Job Duties Include:
- Masking and Polishing
- Examining and Preparing surfaces to be painted
- Preparing, colour matching and mixing paints
- Completing jobs to the highest industry standards
- Making Assessments of damaged Vehicles
- Mending Parts of a vehicles bodywork
- Removing dents in panels
Requirements:
- Level 3 in Paint or Panel (NVQ or City and Guilds)
- IMI Accreditation is advantageous for this role
- A high Attention to detail
- A proven track record of a range of tasks completed both big and small
- Up to date knowledge of Paint Systems
