Aka Recruitment are proud to be working with a longstanding client of ours to bring you this Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester role based in Huddersfield. Working within a busy and clean workshop, you will be joining a forward thinking and established family run business. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm with overtime also available on Saturday mornings. Salary basic is starting at £35k but negotiations can happen. Job Duties Include: Servicing and repairs on a range of brands Removal and refitting of mechanical components Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards Ensure all equipment and workshop is maintained and cleaned Carrying out of inspections on a range of vehicles All work that is completed and carried out is within safe working practices Carry out Diagnostics and repairs to the highest industry standards Requirements: Qualified at Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds) MOT Testing licence is again advantageous but not essential Own tools Full Licence with no more than 6 points Reasons to apply for this role: Easy working environment with no pressure Excellent Salary Basic Full training and support where needed Due to workload, you will be working with a great company dealing with a range of servicing and repairs whilst providing expertise in the field.
