Aka Recruitment is excited to be working with a fantastic client of ours to bring you this exciting Sales Project Manager position. Working within the Customer Experience team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the branch network, sourcing hard-to-find parts, developing sales capability through training initiatives, and delivering exceptional customer service. Working hours are based on a 42.5 hour contract, salary basic starts at 38,000. This role can be based throughout the Midlands or Yorkshire, you must have aftermarket parts experience for this role.
Job Duties
- Support customers and branch teams in sourcing hard-to-find automotive parts
- Assist with Sales Academy initiatives and training programmes across the business
- Handle inbound customer support and sales enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Provide product information, order support, and issue resolution relating to parts supply
- Work closely with branch teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Maintain high service standards and response times
- Act as a key link between branches, suppliers, logistics teams, and internal departments
- Share insights on recurring issues, product gaps, and customer requirements
- Support process improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency
- Promote current offers and promotions to customers
- Liaise with logistics teams to ensure parts are delivered on time
- Provide branch phone cover and additional support where required
- Represent the business professionally and uphold company values at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience within sales support, customer service, parts sourcing, or a similar automotive role
- Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive and solution-focused mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable supporting or delivering training sessions
- Good commercial awareness and customer focus
- Knowledge of MAM, Auto Part OE Catalogues and Parts Link systems
- Strong supplier and automotive parts knowledge
- Computer literate with good IT skills
- Full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points
